Argentine TANGO 

in the TRIANGLE

(Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill),

Yes, we do dance Argentine Tango in the Triangle, and yes,

we've been doing it since 1998 :-) 

 

The Triangle is "one big city" that is a combination of Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, the three vertices of our Research Triangle Park which is one of the main reasons why we have such an international and multicultural population here, in the center of NC.

I have been living tango in this area since 1998 (see the Independent's cover on the right regarding the 2006 Indy Arts Awards) and would love to have more people joining us whether they are new to tango or they are in the area just for a few days or they just moved to the area and are looking for a fix for their tango cravings :-)   

 

  

Hello to all my tango friends,

is my new website and this Google group is where we can keep in touch with each other regardless of where I reside. As some of you might know, I am no longer affiliated with Tangophilia/Jason Laughlin professionally or personally but of course, it is only closing one chapter in my tango life yet to have another one starting :-)

 

I offer Argentine Tango group classes , workshops and/or private lessons & small group classes for social dancers in the Triangle (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill) at my home studio (Studio Tango - RTP). 

You may find information about the schedule and the details of these offerings under the "pages" link you will see on the right hand side of this page.

I will also list the tango events/festivals around the country including the events in NC and the world that ARE OF MY INTEREST AND that I AM INFORMED ABOUT, in case we can create  opportunities to see and dance with each other at different events.

** Monthly Tango Socials: MILONGA and PRACTICA!

Every 1st FRIDAY, I will host the "MilongaVita" and every 1st SUNDAY, I will host and guide the "Afternoon PracticaVita" at my home studio, "Studio Tango - RTP".

CANCELLATIONS in November 2008: "MilongaVita" and "Afternoon PracticaVita" in November are cancelled because of schedule conflicts with my work.
